Seminole, like every other high school, is a place where students can show off their personality through what they wear. Whether that is a denim vest or a simple tee, nothing is a flop if the wearer likes what they are wearing.
Some people follow the latest trends, while others experiment and try something new every day. There are also students who stay in their comfort bubble but have transformed that to be their personal style.
Sophomore IB student Aminha Oola said, “A person can wear whatever they want, as long as they can work it!”
Sophomore Michelle Stein added to this by saying “People should wear something reflects their personal style. If that is blue and yellow striped pants and an orange polka dot shirt then I say go for it!”
Everyone has their own opinion on what should not be worn. Should dress code be enforced when picking an outfit? Junior Matthew Armogan said, “I don’t think there should be a dress code about what not to wear, simply because some people look good in one outfit and some people just don’t. If you can wear it with style then you should able to wear it!”
When it comes down to it, it all depends on what the person wearing it thinks. Confidence is definitely a fab. Believing they look good, a person’s confidence can inspire people to dress how they want instead of conforming to the normal. Nothing is wrong with normal and nothing is wrong with bold. You can’t please everyone but you have to keep in mind that the only opinion that really matters is your own.
