Last night, the Fighting Seminoles won their last game against the Hagerty Huskies. While the regular season is over, the Noles are gearing up to see what playoff season this year will have in store for them.
Seminole kicked off the game to the Huskies, and not even halfway into the first quarter, Seminole made an 8-yard rushing touchdown, with the extra point made by Liam Allen. Hagerty had possession of the ball on their 30-yard line when Seminole recovered a fumble, which awarded the ball to the Noles. Two minutes later it was first down for the Seminoles which resulted in another rushing touchdown, and another extra point by Allen. The first quarter ended with a turnover on downs to the Noles.
The Noles opened up quarter two with a pass from Anthony Gay III for a touchdown, including the extra point. The score was 21-0, and Seminole was on third down with six minutes left until halftime. At that moment, Gay III made a 10-yard rushing touchdown. Hagerty had the ball, and they turned possession over on downs. This led to a long run by Rodney Grant III, and a 7-yard rushing touchdown also by Grant III. Allen secured the extra point, while the Huskies attempted to make a comeback. Hagerty then scored a 40-yard passing touchdown, leading the scoreboard to read 35-7.
There were no scores in the third quarter, but the Huskies made a long pass. Seminole intercepted a Hagerty pass, awarding the ball to the Noles on their 25-yard line.
It turned into quarter four, and the Noles were on first down when Devin Voltaire made a 30-yard rushing touchdown, and Allen made the extra point. Seminole then kicked off to the Huskies, which led to a hagerty first down. The game ended with a turnover on downs as the clock ran out.
