Last year’s theatre productions were fan favorites, such as All My Sons and Mamma Mia. Troupe 3266 unveiled their 2024-2025 production line-up less than a week ago, and the reactions for this year are no different. This line-up is one that you won’t want to miss.
The season will open with The Diary of Anne Frank on October 17th through October 20th. Auditions will start for 9th and 10th graders on August 20th after school. Upper classmen will audition the following day, after school. If you’re interested in an acting or tech position in this production, you must turn in an application, which can be located outside the theatre room in the KWC. If you’re acting, be prepared to perform a 30-60 second dramatic monologue.
Following this will be The Night of Superiors on December 3rd, which showcases the Troupe’s superior events from their district competition. Other productions include The Yellow Boat; a one act performance, Sweeney Todd, and lastly the class of 2025’s Senior Cabaret.
SHS sophomore Holli Ridinger, Troupe 3266 member, shared her experience with the theatre company along with her anticipation for this school year. Ridinger says, “I definitely recommend trying to get inducted if you have all the qualifications because the process is so much fun, and the troupe feels like a big family”. Ridinger’s positive experience with the Troupe is one she hopes many others will get the opportunity to enjoy. For those interested in trying out for any productions, she leaves the advice to feel confident and not doubt yourself. She says one of the most important things is to go in prepared with a positive attitude, and your audition will be smoother.
