As we gear up towards the coming fall, now is the appropriate time for many to begin thinking about their families. As students and teenagers, we often do not appreciate the values that our families hold both in our lives and in the lives of others and instead, tend to dismiss them. Family, however, will stay with us for the rest of our lives – after school, after jobs, and after relationships. That is why for our sixth issue of the 2011-2012 school year, The Seminole has decided to do an issue with a focus on, as they say – La Familia. In this issue, you will find a wide variety of articles ranging from celebrity bands to communication over long distances to ways of coping with loss in the family. We at The Seminole hope everyone had a productive and great first quarter – here’s hoping for an even better one from one member of the Seminole family to another.
Sincerely,
