Since the start of autumn, new seasons of shows both new and old have emerged. There are many new shows that have come out recently for a wide variety of different ages and interests.
In September, Sleepy Hollow came out with its first season. Protagonist Ichabod Crane has been resurrected and has come back from two and a half centuries ago. He ends up in a small town called Sleepy Hollow where he meets lieutenant Abbie Mills, and together they solve crimes and try to stop evil from killing them and others.
Also, The Voice has come out with its fifth season, and another round of singers try to stay in the competition to win money and a record deal. The coaches this season are CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine. They chose people to join their team and participate in one-on-one “knockout rounds.” Then they have people on their team perform by themselves and the viewers chose who stays in the competition.
In the new season of Grimm, detective Nick Burkhardt and his crew of people who know that he is a Grimm, face new problems in Portland. This season is filled with new Grimm creatures. There is action and drama in this season as Nick faces all new dilemmas.
Sophomore Ariel Towne, who watches Grimm, said, “ I expect battles and interesting turns of events. I feel that it will be successful because it has a great plot and characters in a fantastic story.”
The new season of Once Upon A Time is about the adventures of a group of classic fairy-tale characters across fairy-tale settings. More is revealed about the characters in Once Upon A Time, and new problems emerge between characters.
Freshman Katie Pittington said, “The new show that I like to watch is Once Upon A Time. I like the theme of the show, and I dislike that the pirate doesn’t end up with Emma.”
In the new show ABC Family show Ravenswood, the protagonist of Pretty Little Liars, Caleb, and a group of teenagers find out that there is a curse that may kill them. They hunt for information and try to stay safe. Everything is not as it seems, and they don’t know who they should trust.
In order to make shows better, Christina Nguen suggested, “Shows should be funny and relatable. I personally like to watch Awkward and Pretty Little Liars.”
This season has brought a lot of diverse new shows. These shows have already started, but viewers can still catch up if they are interested.
